A stretch of open water where the wind's been building for a thousand miles—unhurried, inevitable, gathering all it needs before it reaches shore; that's the long fetch. Our mascot, a cat named Fetch, rides a fish as if nature built him to. For people who love the water, know their knots, and dress with the weather in mind.
Who we are:
Two sailors in Brooklyn who couldn't find clothing that looked like the water we actually know.
We sail out of Sheepshead Bay — a 1978 Pearson 323 for cruising, a 1964 Pearson Ensign for racing. Our waterfront is Coney Island, container ships, water taxis, tugboats, rusted bulkheads, and some of the best sailing on the East Coast, none of which appears on a resort brochure.
So we made the things ourselves. Vintage naturalist engravings on shirts built for sun and salt. Tableware with fish on it that fishermen would recognize, and a few nobody's seen for a century or two. Fine art prints of waters we've crossed — Hell Gate, the Sound, the Hudson, more to come — each one the actual color of that water and that sky.
Everything is made on demand. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be landfilled because somebody guessed wrong about what would sell.
An honest note on imagery: our designs are hand-built — mostly drawn by us or worked up from vintage illustrations, occasionally with AI-generated elements folded in. Most of the lifestyle photography on this site is AI-generated while we shoot the real thing. The products, the prints, and the sailing are real.
